Emmanuel "Manu Dembélé" Taimu has been named GG Grassroots' Player of the Month for June. The versatile 16-year-old attacking player has been a revelation for the first team, delivering standout performances and deciding big games — all while balancing high school commitments that limit his training time with the squad.

Taimu is the second 16-year-old to break into the first team, following in the footsteps of his namesake Emmanuel Kapikinyu. He has drawn high praise from Junior Development Coach Meda, as well as the senior coaches and management, who deemed him worthy of the accolade.
